WHO WE ARE

The LABARCA Remo Club Cultural and Sports Association was born in the municipality of Almuñécar, but hopes to one day extend to other beaches on the coasts of Granada and Almería.

LABARCA, non-profit, aspires to become a self-sustaining economic reality based on member fees. After a few years, we hope to be officially considered "in the public interest."

— Attraction

Attract young and not so young people - but in good shape - towards traditional group rowing and towards interest in our history.

— Beauty

Beautify and make our beach landscape and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean more interesting.

— Brotherhood

Qualify friendly relations between natives of the municipality, new residents and active tourists, of any age, sex, nationality or social background.

— Disclosure

Contribute to the compilation and creation of the contents of a future Interpretation Center for the Art of Seine Boat, artisanal fishing and Andalusian riverside carpentry.
